How To Pay American Airlines Baggage Fee Online:- If you're flying with American Airlines, you have the option to pay for any checked bags at check-in online at aa.com. Check-in begins 24 hours prior to your flight and continues up to 4 hours prior to your flight for the purpose of payment for the checked bag.
Other notes to know:
- You are only in the US You can pay for checked bags online for domestic flights, not for international flights. Hawaii and Alaska are considered US domestic flights.
- You can pay for up to 3 bags when you check in on aa.com or the American Airlines app.
- You will receive an email confirmation with instructions on where to drop the bags at the airport.
- You cannot pay baggage fees over the phone, only online or through the AA mobile app.
