Twitter is launched in March 2006 and twitter was created by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams and launched in July of that year. It is used by millions of people and organizations to quickly share and search for information.
A Twitter word comes from the chirping sound created by birds. Therefore, the bird's pic used in the Twitter's logo.
However, Twitter's users are limited to posting messages of 140 characters or fewer. Posting a message on the twitter is known as a Tweet.

Twitter is also known as a micro-blogging site,"Micro Blogging is a combination of blogging and instant messaging that allows users to post and share with online viewers."
We can also use it in mobile and web. And many people use twitter because twitter discovers interesting people and companies online and follow their tweets and connect with them.
Some people also use Twitter to discover interesting people and companies online for own work and also use the celebrities to connecting with them.
Twitter is also a personal and more rapid network because it has become one of the most popular used social media platforms.
Celebrities take more interest in Twitter and they use it to build a more personal connection with more people (their fans).
All celebrities, government people, and businessman are Twitter users. Their daily updates generate a sense of engagement with their followers. Which is powerful for advertising purposes, and is also very attractive and motivated for the following people.
Twitter’s vocabulary
The Twitter has its own set of vocabulary.
1. Tweet:-
It is a system of a standard messaging on the Twitter. You can tweet your suggestion only 140 characters or fewer.
2. Retweet:-
It is a system of re-sharing of a standard messaging on Twitter.
3. Mention:-
@ is the main part of Twitter. It always includes the user's name.
When the users tweets on the twitter the @ sign always includes in replies and mentions of other users by preceding their usernames.
4. Hashtag:-
It works like a keyword. Which are very useful to easily identify and tag the users for search purposes. The symbol of the hashtag is ‘#’.
5. Handle:-
This designates your username and accompanying URL at http://twitter.com/handle.
6. Feed:-
Feed is the stream of tweets on your twitter, all the accounts you follow are included in your homepage.
7. Lists:-
Twitter provides a system to list users you follow into groups lists & showing tweets of all the users in the system list.
8. Direct Message:-
It represents Twitter's direct messaging system for only personal communication amongst users. It is also called a DM (direct messaging).
